NZ Downstream is New Zealand's premier event for everyone involved directly or indirectly in the downstream energy industry.

This must-attend event offers insights into current energy sector challenges and opportunities such as network performance, distributed energy technology, the changing retail landscape, regulated markets, emissions and customer trends.

NZ Downstream brings together influencers and representatives from the downstream energy industry. The 2018 event saw over 450 delegates convene. The 2019 event will continue to assist in setting the future direction for the industry. We are looking forward to seeing you at SKYCITY in March.  The main event will be held on 5th and 6th March 2019, with the Network Managers' Forum run on the afternoon before the main conference on the 4th March.

Back for Downstream 2019:

NZ Downstream 2019 will also include two specialised sub-events to help you take advantage of the two main trends disrupting the energy sector.

Downstream Technology Conference

The NZ energy market is changing at a rapid pace which promises to transform the way we consume, manage and think about energy.  Downstream 2019 will feature an insightful technology-focused event to highlight the new energy future and the opportunities and challenges accompanying the technology revolution.

Downstream Customer Conference

New Zealand is characterised by having one of the most competitive retail environments in the world and the battle to obtain and retain customers is forcing rapid innovation in the retail sector.  As technology evolves, new energy options and better customer relationships provide an opportunity for the industry to deliver value beyond the price point.  The Downstream Customer Conference showcases trends and developments to put the customer at the heart of your organisational strategy.

Previous events

Energy News and Conferenz were delighted to launch a new high level strategic forum specifically for the downstream energy sector in March 2012. It was a huge success, attended by over 250 energy sector leaders. There was a successful industry dinner function at the end of day one that was attended by just over 200.
