Connexis was established in October 2013 through the merger of ESITO (The Electricity Supply Industry Training Organisation) and Infratrain (a civil construction industry training organisation).
Connexis is the Industry Training Organisation for New Zealand's infrastructure industry.
We're working to build a skilled infrastructure workforce - for now and for the future.
One of the ways we build skills is through nationally-recognised qualifications. These are mainly achieved on the job and provide structured career pathways for people in our industry. We work in industry sectors including civil construction, electricity supply and telecommunications.
