Oliver leads EECA’s clean energy initiatives in wood energy, biogas, and other renewable fuels. He previously led EECA's Regional Energy Transition Accelerator (RETA) programme, which provided a detailed view of fossil fuelled process heat demand and potential renewable fuel alternatives. This work has demonstrated the potential opportunity New Zealand has in wood energy for process heat.
