David McGregor is the Co‑Founder and Director of Carbona, leading the development of torrefaction and carbonisation facilities across Australasia. With more than 40 years’ experience in the industrial energy sector, David is passionate about renewable fuels and decarbonising energy systems. Through Carbona, he is focused on converting biomass residues into high‑value renewable products, helping drive New Zealand’s transition to net‑zero emissions by 2050.
