Angela is the General Manager – Fuels Strategy at Genesis Energy where she is responsible for supply of gas, coal and LPG for generation and retail customers as well as developing new fuel source such as biomass, LNG and low carbon emerging fuels.
Angela’s 25-year career spans the economic assessment, strategic planning, commercial delivery and negotiation of oil, gas, LNG and pipeline projects in New Zealand, France, Nigeria, the UK and Australia. A qualified engineer, she has comprehensive understanding of energy technology, regulation and global energy markets. In particular she's focused on new technology assessment for unconventional gas, hydrogen, biogas, energy storage and carbon capture and storage. Her commercial and strategy experience has given her hands on experience in the assessment of project economics and techno-economic assessment in the energy sector. She has a Master of Engineering from the University of Auckland and an MBA from the University of Cambridge (UK).
