John is a Senior Principal and Business Director - Energy Advisory at Beca. He has more than 30 years of experience in statutory and strategic planning, infrastructure strategy, feasibility, planning and development as well as business and team management, leadership and governance.
In his role he leads and co-ordinates a number of Beca's advisory services into the Energy market across New Zealand and Australia which range from strategy development, due diligence studies, project development, programme management, procurement and other advisory related services. A qualified planner, he applies a systems approach to the sector, one which is faced with not only unprecedented growth, but also ever increasing complexity that is being experienced locally, nationally and internationally.
